Building addition for maintenance, decon and billeting

Four gas detector 

A new Pumper/Tender

Current and serviceable SCBA

Current and serviceable PPE

Mission

To provide life safety resources, equipment and upgrades to emergency services within Brown County, specifically the City of Powhattan and Powhattan Township. 

Profile

The Powhattan Fire Department has a membership of around 30 personnel who provide life saving and life safety services or support. 

We are an entirely volunteer force who relies heavily on donations and volunteers to continue operations. If you don't feel that you can support us monetarily, please consider picking up an application!
