Horton Alumni Association – Making a Difference 

The Horton Alumni Association is proud to support our students, schools, and community in meaningful, lasting ways.

Scholarship Support

• Awards five $500 scholarships annually to graduating seniors
• Spring basketball & volleyball fundraiser – Partial proceeds go to the scholarship fund
• Annual Golf Tournament – 17 teams participated in 2025; proceeds benefit scholarships 

Support for USD 430 Schools

• Oversees and distributes alumni-directed funds to meet school and student needs
• Funded KSHSAA-standard wall mats for high school gym
• Purchased a printer and engraver for the HHS business class
• Donated TVs for classrooms and student use in all three schools
• Provided financial support at the baseball fields
• Sponsored student business trips to enhance learning beyond the classroom
• Supplied meals and treats for teacher & staff appreciation efforts
